• 2017 SUMMER INTENSIVE PROGRAM

Classical Ballet of Colorado (CBC) offers a comprehensive 4-week Summer Intensive Program (SIP) designed for students age 8 through 21, Beginning through Advanced levels.

    June 12 - 16
    June 19 - 23
    June 26 - 30
    July 3 - 7

Summer break from school is the ideal opportunity for the dance student to have a more concentrated experience in what they love to do and to bring skills up to the next level of expertise. CBC believes that every student deserves individualized coaching to improve their skills. CBC’s expertly trained faculty will ensure that every student receives high quality and personalized feedback during the Intensive. Students will be surprised at the pace of advancement in their skills after four short weeks.

Pre-pointe students will be assessed for readiness to begin pointe work. For those that are ready to go on pointe, CBC arranges fittings with a professional pointe shoe fitter during the first week of the Summer Intensive. With emphasis on technique and safety, these students will be guided through the basic skills of dancing on pointe.

Students enrolled in the last three weeks will have the opportunity to participate in a studio performance at the end of the Intensive. Casting priority will be given to those enrolled in the full 4-week program.
